Both a painter and sculptor, Delphine Portier, a professional artist, offers works testifying to a strong sensitivity. 

His work is in line with expressionism for the treatment of characters and with that of fauvism for the choice of colors.

The artist is currently working on a theme linked to music and dance. 

The generous use of oil in a thick layer and the unconventional handling of the knife help to give depth to the character inhabiting the painting. 

The characters are isolated in order to show us the intensity of their feelings.

Figures, hands and faces follow twists of the body and its different postures.

Everything is vivid: the colors, the sensitivity and the rendering of the flesh.
