Frédérique CHABIN-RIVIERE is a French artist, born in Vincennes and living in the Centre region.

She has been painting since childhood, very inspired by the ocean where she grew up. For a long time she used oil paint and over the years, various artistic encounters have allowed her to evolve in several techniques, to finally find her fulfilment in contemporary abstract art. She works with acrylics and mixed techniques combining natural materials, resin, gold leaf and fine stones (minerals). The result is a play of light and shadow that varies according to the lighting, offering different reflections each time, all enhanced with fine stones bringing serenity to the whole work.

 This work of superimposition has earned her several awards: 

-2014: 1st Prize for Painting at the 12th Art Show in Voves (28) 

-2014: Public Prize at St Arnoult des bois (28)

- 2015: Prize of the Crédit Agricole in Coudray Séminaire des Barbelés CHARTRES (28)

- 2017: Prize of the City of 3 Rivers (Cloyes sur le Loir 28)

- 2017: Prize of the UCIA in Chateaudun (28)

- 2017: 1st prize for painting in Morancez (28)

-2018: Prize of the City at the 29th exhibition of Angerville (91)

- 2018: Pierre de Ronsard Prize at the Art show of Beaumont la Ronce (37) 

- 2018: Jury Prize at the Salon d'Art of St Georges Sur Eure (28) 

- 2019: Coup de Cœur Prize at the Salon d'Art of CLAIREFONTAINE (78) 

- 2020: 1st Prize for painting at the Art Show of DRAVEIL (91) 

- 2021: Silver medal by the Academy Arts-Sciences-Lettres PARIS (75)

- 2022: 1st Prize in mixed media painting, Salon International De BOURGES (18) by LIONS -CLUB

- 2023:Prize of the city of Pierres-Maintenon 

Her works in 3D call out by the movement and the energy that she always wants to be positive. 

She has now found an identity and acquired her own signature.

Several press clippings have been dedicated to her as well as a full page in the magazine "MAISON&JARDIN" and a double page in the magazine "CdeL'ART". 

Paint using traditional pigments mixed with synthetic resins.

Painting is an art form of painting on a surface by aesthetically applying colored fluids. Painters represent a very personal expression on supports such as paper, rock, canvas, wood, bark, glass, concrete and many other substrates. Work of representation or invention, painting can be naturalistic and figurative, or abstract. It can have narrative, descriptive, symbolic, spiritual, or philosophical content.
