The most important theme in painting is

not an external object or phenomenon that can be reproduced and imitated with painting skills,

but the invisible essence of objects or energy of the nature, which is to clearly distinguish oneself from a phenomenon that can be imitated.   Therefore, from the old times, top artists were never concerned about simply realistic description.   The top artist and poet during Tang dynasty, Wang Wei said, in his book,

"Among many possibilities of painting, I consider ink-and-wash painting to be the best.   Ink-and-wash painting is at least not relevant to sensational colors,

and therefore, is much closer to transcendence than other types of painting.   For that reason, Wang Wei called painting 'study'

instead of art, as a kind of philosophy. An artist tries to show the spirit of nature instead of painting it.   Art is one of the clearest self-demonstration of human beings. Through the history,

human beings that has mysterious and imperceptible power crystallized the colorful possibilities through perceptible material phenomena.   In other words, it is the unique possibility and realization of human beings.

As individuals talk to and meet each other, artworks and people are one in separate forms.

Therefore, art is a phenomenon that exists in life and prospect as individual entities.
