Cockscomb, artist material selected works from recent several years, is the bowl that put her life. In a large context such as healing, my paintings are seeking for a molding world through flowers and trees.

I lay my fundamentals on simplicity, tranquility, purity of the world rather than the thoughts and issues. I personally think that happiness comes from our trifles, and is driven along by warm hearts. When I'm out for a walk, I'm deeply overwhelmed by all these beautiful lines and colors of nature's wonders that lure my eyes.
As time went by, my art works were mainly landscapes and stills, revolved around realism and naturalism aesthetics. And I tried to express my aesthetic sensibility on canvas through nature. I pursued showing the object's essentials through formative colors and senses. Along with, I tried to express the hidden extravagance that is adequately simple and peaceful, and purity smeared with warmness that matches my sentiment.

I'd like to recite a poem that appears to be representing my recent feelings in drawing trees.

"Kissing with the sunlight running down the leaf
The tree dreams of its energy
Rubbing its cheek with the rain falling on
Dreaming of its blood aloud
With the azure energy of the wind blowing around its branches
Listens to its vitality swaying."
The Dream of Trees (Hyun-Jong, Jeong)

The forest mingled with trees, the wind's vitality through the woods, and the brilliant silky sunlight shining between cloud and mist are the primary source of my career and in order to express such principals, I am pouring out my passion into my art works.
The nature's molding world in abstruseness of provision of nature has an alchemy, making us look back into our past; because that force releases the creative energy.
Therefore, from the unaffected nature's duty, I'd like to make the trees, by extension, the forest look more like a still-life painting.
When I meet with the marvelous nature, my heart thrills with butterflies. Furthermore, the purified feelings from the abyss when all of a sudden I become one with the trees while walking in a forest, give me enthusiasm as an artist. Thus, I pursued such sensitivity smeared with the scent of trees with conciseness.

Also, the unceasing topic of my drawings, a cockscomb, is being composed on canvas as the years roll by, getting equal to my inner sparks. I expressed the beauty of the world within my eyes, passionately located inside my heart. Also, I tried, and still trying to show the inner essentials of the cockscomb, the hidden purity and tranquility of itself, rather than the physical appearance, the fanciness of the red color. Since then, when I chose trees as my subject matter, my hand holding the brush danced on canvas by itself, fascinated by the simplicity, purity and indomitable spirits of the trees which is completely the opposite of the life of human beings; living ceaselessly in this complex world.

I wished I could share my feelings with everyone else; what I've personally seen through the banquet of the fancy and also friendly flowers in my own expressions, the energy of nature. And lately, I am combining the two thoughts inside my heart; the desire to simplify the colors, and to  orientalize my paintings even though they are oil paintings. And the final goal is to observe more into this contemplated lives of people, to find out and seek out the identity of life, and to heal the exhausted souls all through art.
